Certified Organic Pork Skin - The perfect crackle. By opting for certified organic pork, not only are you avoiding all hormones and antibiotics, but you are also adding greater nutritional benefit to the meat you consume. Higher in Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants, certified organic pork skin is a great way to consume good quality pork fat.
To make pork crackle, preheat oven to 220C. Place pork skin with crackle side up onto a rack over a baking dish. Pat skin dry with paper towel to remove moisture. Brush well with oil and sprinkle generously with salt.
Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the small bubbles form and the rind is crispy and golden. Allow to cool and cut into pieces with a knife or kitchen scissors.
